MEETING MINUTES
Commissioners Present: Vivien Cook, Michael Harnett, Linda Haspel.
Commissioners Not Present: Stephen Smith, Steven LaBranche, Fred Rollinson.
Staff Present: Jeff Thibodeau
Also Present: Michael Ball Doug Guey-Lee and one additional attendee from Wilkinson Ecological Design.
Notice of Intent filed by Dean and Mireille Bajorn. DEP SE 19-1498.~Applicant proposes deck expansion and stairway, proposed addition, and removal of invasive vegetation and vista pruning at 25 Blue Bill Lane, Map 17, Parcel 519.
Commissioners and the applicants went over the details of the proposed project in the field. Topics of information included property lines, and areas proposed for vista pruning and invasive species removal. They discussed in more detail the location of the cedar trees proposed for removal, the need for a delineation of the limit of work, the methodology for working on the bank without causing adverse impacts, and the use of herbicides. The commission requested additional information for the next hearing regarding the herbicide specifications and their long term potential impacts.
